Home Server with Control-App "Smart Control"
Description of the device
CLAGE Home Server is an integrated server which is equipped with a Wi-Fi controller and a
special radio adapter. Thus it can be used as interface between the control app and the instan-
taneous water heaters DSX Touch, DSX Twin, DSX, DEX, CFX, CEX, MCX and MBX. The server
provides all services which are required to configure and control the instantaneous water
heaters and to capture the operating data of the instantaneous water heaters by means of the
control app.
The control app is the user interface for the Home Server. It administers individual user profiles
as well as consumption data, and allows for the intuitive control of the instantaneous water
heaters via the touch screen of the tablet / smartphone.
The Home Server can only be used within the local network. Neither control nor data can be
accessed from the internet. For security reasons, the Home Server is not directly accessible via
the Internet. However, it is possible to set up a direct access via a VPN connection. For details,
refer to your router manual or the Internet.
Protect your home network against unauthorised access from the Internet with up-to-date
software and firewall.
