5.1 Controls

The device is switched on and off at the main switch (Figure 6[1]). When the device is
switched on the initialization runs. Both the dimmer unit and the integrated shutter move
during this process.
The brightness emitted by the light source can be set to 20 different steps at the
„Brightness" rotary switch (Fig. 6[2]). In addition to the visual display of the brightness
setting by the LED bar graph an audible signal is sounded at both extreme positions.
Pressing and holding (> 2sec) the „Confirm Lamp Change" button (Fig. 6[3]) resets the
internal lamp operating hours counter of the device. The reset is acknowledged by a beep.
The lamp operating hours counter should be reset after every lamp change. The built-in
lamp must in no case be operated longer than the maximum life specified by the
manufacturer (see the lamp manufacturer's instructions).
The „Shutter open" button (Fig. 6[4]) controls the integrated shutter.
