4.6 Connecting the power cable

A power cable for non-heating appliances is used (conductor size: min. 3x0.75
mm²) with a socket outlet for non-heating appliances IEC320 C13 (EN 60320 C13)
as output. The inlet plug of the connecting cable for non-heating appliances should
conform to the site conditions. The protective conductor must be included in the
connecting cable for non-heating appliances. Set the ballast mains switch to zero
(Off) before connecting the mains cable.
At first, connect the mains cable to the Compact Light Source mains inlet (Figure 5
[6]) and then put the plug in a properly working ground socket outlet. The ground
contact line must not be interrupted (e.g., by unsuitable extension cable).
