• Screws are loose
• Blade fasteners are loose
• Blade is unbalanced
• Brake lever not pressed
• Speed lever in wrong position
• Spark plug is defective
• Fuel tank is empty
• Contaminated fuel
• Cold environment
• Engine faulty
• Air filter is soiled
• Spark plug is soiled
• Blade is blunt
• Cutting height is too low
• Cutting height is too low
• Blade is worn
• Basket is clogged
Remedy
• Check screws
• Check blade fasteners
• Replace blade
• Press brake lever
• Check setting
• Replace spark plug
• Refill with fuel
• Empty fuel tank and fill with clean fuel
• Push the primer button
