• These statements apply only to rechargeable bat-
teries and batteries that are sold in the countries of
the European Union and that are subject to Euro-
pean Directive 2006/66/EU. Different provisions can
apply to the disposal of rechargeable batteries and
batteries in countries outside the European Union.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for
more details of how to dispose of your worn-out
electrical devices.
Fuels and oils
• Before disposing of the device, the fuel tank and the
engine oil tank must be emptied!
• Fuel and engine oil do not belong in household
waste or drains, but must be collected or disposed
of separately!
• Empty oil and fuel tanks must be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly manner.
16. Troubleshooting
The following table shows fault symptoms and describes remedial measures in the event of your device fails to work
properly. If you cannot localise and rectify the problem with this, please contact your service workshop.

The spark plug connector (59) is disconnected.
The fuel is off or stale.
The throttle (42) is not in the correct start
position.

The carburettor is not adjusted correctly.

Remedy
Connect the spark plug connector (59) to the
spark plug (60) properly.
Fill with new fuel.
Move the throttle (42) to the start position.
The choke lever (40) must be in the "ON" posi-
tion for a cold start.
Clean the fuel line.
Clean, set gap or replace.
Wait a few minutes before restarting. Do not
prime.
Connect the spark plug connector (59) to the
spark plug (60) properly.
Set the choke lever (40) to the "OFF" position.
Clean the fuel line. Fill the fuel tank (14) with
new fuel.
Clean or replace the air filter (58).
Empty the fuel tank (14). Fill with new fuel.
Clean or replace the air filter (58).
