7. Unpacking

Open the packaging and carefully remove the de-

8. Before commissioning
m ATTENTION!
Always make sure the device is fully assembled
before commissioning!
Before connecting the machine, make certain that the
data on the type plate matches with the mains power
data.
Warning! Always pull out the mains plug before
carrying out adjustments on the device.
8.1 Assembly (fig. 1-3)
1. Attach the additional handle (5) to the connection
point of the device.
2. Screw the connection for chip extraction (11) with
the two screws (17) to the designated position on
the unit.
8.2 Setting the cutting depth (fig. 4/5)
• Undo the locking lever for cutting depth adjustment
(4) on the back of the protective cover.
• Place the saw shoe (6) flat on the surface of the
workpiece to be processed. Lift the saw until the
saw blade (13) is at the required cutting depth (A).
• Refasten the locking lever for the cutting depth ad-
justment (4). Check that it is tight.
8.3 Mitre cuts (fig. 6)
• To make diagonal cuts, loosen the mitre adjustment
locking screws (8) on the front and rear of the de-
vice.
• You can now change the cutting angle by up to 45°.
Note the cutting angle scale (B) for this.
• After adjusting the desired angle, tighten the mitre
adjustment locking screws (8).
