Switching on the appliance

Insert the supplied batteries into the two
battery compartments 1.
Turn over the scales, place on a firm
surface and enter the basic information in
the display. These entries are necessary in
order to obtain accurate analysis values.
The symbol for the relevant entry option
and the selection menu is shown against a
dark background.
Changing the basic
information
CLOCK is shown against a dark
background.
■ Use the navigation buttons ◄ ► to select
the numbers for the current time.
■ Press the SET button after each number
to save the setting.
DATE is shown against a dark background.
■ Use the navigation buttons ◄ ► to select
the numbers for the current date.
■ Press the SET button after each number
to save the setting.
Now let the scales switch off.
Entering your personal data
■ To calibrate the scales, place it on a solid,
level and dry surface, turn it on and turn it
off again without weighing anything.
■ Step onto the scales to switch them on.
Weight and "?" are displayed.
■ Now press the SET button to enter
information. The next available User
Profile, e.g., 3, is shown against a dark
background.
■ Press the SET button or use the navi­
gation buttons ◄ ► to select another
User Profile and press the SET button to
confirm.
You now have the option to enter personal

GOALS
such as
WEIGHT desired weight,
FAT desired percentage of fat,
desired percentage of
MUSCLE
muscle.
To enter the desired values, check the
general information and tables on the
fold­out pages.
The entered goals will appear later in the
analysis graphics in the form of a horizontal
line. If you do not wish to enter any goals,
simply press the SET button to skip this
option.
The following symbols now appear:
select the activity level 1 (unexer­

cised) to 5 (competitive athlete),
select the correct gender MALE or
CD
FEMALE
enter details of year, month and day

of birth
set height in cm e.g., 173

The data is saved and "Data for user #
saved" is displayed for about 3 seconds.
The values are then displayed in the cockpit

view .
The programming is complete; now let the
scales switch off.
Information:
Previously used User Profiles can be over­
written at any time with new data.
A previously used User Profile can be
deleted again in menu setting
DELETE USER. This will delete all data for
this user.
