Position the controller so it is protected from flooding and direct sunlight.

NOTICE
When connecting drinking water lines it is necessary to observe important technical, hygienic
and legal requirements. For this reason:
 Drinking water systems may only be installed by a qualified expert for drinking water systems.
Always guide drinking water to the pond via a free flowing outlet.

• Thoroughly flush out the water supply line to prevent dirt particles from impairing the func-
tion of the solenoid valve.
• Connect the valve to the water supply line. Ensure that the arrow on the side of the valve cas-
ing points in the flow direction.
• Always use Teflon tape to seal the thread, not hemp.
• When installing pipes, always ensure that metal threads are positioned over plastic threads.
• Fit the valve with the solenoid pointing up. This increases its operating life and reduces lime-
scale and dirt deposits.
• Conduct the water flowing out so that it flows through a pipe ≥DN 50 or a water course into
the pond.
