c) Operating Mode "Wireless AP Mode"


As already mentioned, the operating mode "Wireless AP Mode" must be selected
at the end of configuration. If the router is already set to "AP", first choose another
mode, either "3G Wireless Router Mode" or "Wireless Router Mode (Gateway)".
• First configure the WLAN as described in chapter 12 of these operating instructions.
• The router's standard IP address is 192.168.0.1. If your main router has the same IP
address, change one of them. We recommend changing the address of the new router. For
this, click "LAN" in the webinterface. Change the address behind "IP Adress" accordingly and
confirm with "APPLY". Then close your web browser.
If you want to make any further settings in the webinterface, restart your computer and then
reconnect it to the WLAN connection. Now you can log in to the webinterface again. Enter
the IP address as changed by you in the address line of the Internet browser.
• After making all settings, click "Mode" and change the operating mode to "Wireless AP
Mode". Then confirm with "APPLY". Close your web browser and restart your computer. In
the meantime, connect the LAN port to the LAN socket of your old router with a 1:1-linked
network cable.

As an alternative, you can also close your web browser after completing all settings
and change the operating mode with the "Mode" button on the back of the router.
• When the operating system has started up completely, connect to the WLAN again. If your
main router is connected to the internet, access via the wireless router should be possible.
All computers connecting to the new router via WLAN automatically receive an IP address
from the main router.
• If you want to change the settings again later, assign a fixed IP address to your computer's
WLAN card (e.g. 192.168.0.22). If you changed the address previously, the fixed IP address
of your WLAN card must correspond to it.
