5. Safety Information

The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-
compliance with these operating instructions. We do not assume any
responsibility for consequential damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety notices. In such
cases the guarantee/warranty will be void.
Dear customer, the following safety instructions and danger warnings are not only
to protect your well-being but also to protect the device. Please read the following
points carefully:
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is prohibited for
safety and approval reasons (CE). Do not open/disassemble it! There are no
parts inside the device that need to be adjusted or maintained by you.
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried out by a specialist/specialised
workshop.
• The product should only be used in closed, dry indoor areas, it must not become
damp or wet. There is the risk of a fatal electric shock!
• Protect the product from direct solar radiation, strong heat (>35°C), cold (<0°C),
dust and dirt.
• The design of the mains plug complies with safety class II. Only a regular mains
socket connected to the public mains supply may be used as a voltage supply for
the mains adapter.
• Only use the included mains adapter for power supply.
• When the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. during transport),
condensation water may form. This could damage the product. The mains
adapter also involves the risk of a mortal electric shock!
Therefore, you should allow the product to warm up to room temperature before
using it or connecting the power pack to a socket outlet. This process may take
several hours.
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children! Children
cannot judge the dangers involved when handling electrical devices. Particular
care must therefore be exercised if children are around.
• Use the device only in moderate climate regions and not in tropical climate.
