Always reset the emergency release tab system to its ready position before using the
helmet.
The emergency release tab is attached to an orange fabric loop that is sewn to the cheek
pad cover.
(1) The emergency release tab hangs down outside of the cheek pad cover through a
small hole in the cheek pad cover.
(2) Push the emergency release tab through the small hole in the cheek pad cover.
(3) Return the cheek pad cover in order to fully cover the bottom of the cheek pad.
The emergency release tab system is now in the ready position.
To replace a cheek pad in helmet, slip pad onto strap.
Place the front tab toward the front of the helmet and push the rear part of pad until the
pad is fully home.
Pull the chinstrap completely through the cheek pad to ensure there is no play in the
chin strap and it is not trapped behind the cheek pad.
