Operating and EMA installation instructions for version with Swingbolt or Rotobolt high-security lock:
If the safe is equipped with a Swingbolt or Rotobolt high-security lock, the following points must be observed when operating the safe and connecting it to an EMA:
Swingbolt or Rotobolt high security lock with an external bolt switching contact and indirect monitoring through the bolt mechanism position.
EMA connection – notes for the installer:
Monitoring of the locking mechanism is carried out indirectly using the bolt mechanism position with switching plate 3 and with an external bolt switching contact. The external
bolt switching contact only switches when the bolt mechanism is in the end position (fully extended). When the bolt mechanism is in this position, the Swingbolt or Rotobolt lock
automatically moves into the locked position and locks the bolt mechanism.
The EMA installer must set the switching point of the external bolt switching contact so that it only switches when the bolt mechanism has moved to its end position.
Operating instructions:
Closing the safe door
1. Close the safe door according to the operating and assembly instructions in the section "Closing the door". To do this, the door handle must be moved counterclockwise to
the left to the end position. (door hinge right)
2. After closing the door with the door handle, the door handle must be moved again towards the open position. This checks whether the Swingbolt or Rotobolt lock has correctly
locked the bolt mechanism. The door handle must only be able to move very slightly.
3. Move the door handle all the way back to the end position counterclockwise to the left. (door hinge right)

Deadbolt high security lock with an external deadbolt switch contact and monitoring with the lock bolt.
EMA connection – notes for the installer:
Monitoring of the locking mechanism is carried out using the lock bolt position with switch plate 1 or 2 and with an external bolt switching contact. The external bolt switching
contact only switches when the lock bolt is completely extended (lock position lock, bolt mechanism extended and locked).
The EMA installer must set the switching point of the external dead bolt switching contact so that it only switches when the lock bolt has extended to its end
position.
