Operating and mounting instructions
Note: Your safe is equipped with a certified double-bit security lock with "forced closure".
The key can only be removed when the lock is locked.
Key loss:
(only with key lock version)
You will receive 2 double-bit keys as standard. If one or more keys are lost, the lock must be replaced for security
reasons, otherwise the insurance cover will expire. If you need an additional key, please proceed according to the
enclosed "Key Order" form.
For security reasons, replacement keys can generally only be made on presentation of an original key.
Keep your keys in a safe place: the safe will have to be opened by force in the event of loss, a situation that would
involve high costs for you.
2.3 Adjusting the shelves
The safe is equipped with height-adjustable shelves. Each shelf rests on four shelf supports, which are hooked into the
notches on the side wall of the safe. To adjust a shelf, it must be removed from the safe, and the four shelf supports can
then be hooked into the notch required.
NOTE:
The short section of the shelf support must be inserted into the side wall notch; the shelf then rests on
the long section of the shelf support.

Anchoring and installation
3.2
General
If you want to insure the contents (material assets) of your safe, the professional anchoring of your safe with a dead
weight of less than 1000 kg is a minimum requirement according to the European standard DIN EN 1143-1. Coordinate
the general conditions regarding the installation site and anchoring with your property insurer.
The safe has an optimal protective function only after it has been attached to a solid part of a building. Please use only
the provided anchorage holes in the safe to make the necessary fixed connection. As standard, your safe is provided with
at least one anchoring hole in the floor. Depending on the model, your safe may also be equipped with additional
anchoring holes.
Proper anchoring must be carried out with at least one heavy-duty anchor. The safe comes with
suitable anchoring material in the form of a concrete screw, as approved by the Property Insurer Association VdS.
If your safe comes with different anchoring material, please observe the instructions in the corresponding "Anchoring
supplementary sheet" and anchor your safe according to the description in the supplementary sheet.
Concrete screw anchor, e.g. Hilti HUS-H 10x130
Optimal anchoring with the concrete screw anchor is achieved when the safe is fitted to a solid subsurface, e.g.
concrete of grade C20/25 to C50/60.
The concrete screw anchor is also suitable for concrete C12/15 or masonry with a dense structure (e.g. solid masonry
brick, solid sand-lime brick).
Please note that the concrete screw anchor must be screwed directly into the load-bearing floor structure. A
non-load-bearing structure over the high-strength substrate (e.g., screed, insulation layer, tiles or similar) is not
permitted.
ATTENTION:
If the supplied anchoring material cannot be used due to the nature of the substrate, the
anchoring material must be adapted to suit the substrate.
