USSD balance / expiry date

USSD codes are forwarded to the respective mobile phone provider. For example, this enables the
balance or expiry date of prepaid SIM cards to be inquired.
If available, these data are submitted to the recipient in the "Cyclic message" and are displayed as an
additional menu item in the "GSM modem" menu.
If this function is not used, the symbol "#" must be entered.

Signalled faults...

This menu item is used to select the fault (error) messages that are to be transmitted to the target
phone number via the GSM modem.

GPRS APN / GPRS user / password *

An access point name (APN) and the corresponding access data are required for access to the
Internet with the GSM modem.
These are dependent on the SIM card used.
In addition, a user name and a password must be entered. If the provider does not request these, the
corresponding fields remain empty.

Modem active

When the GSM modem and its accessories have been properly installed in the electric control unit,
and a valid SIM card inserted. When all necessary settings for the GSM modem have been made
[Sections 8.2 and 9.0], the modem can be activated in this menu item.
Subsequently, the modem symbol appears in the main display.
