Installing the GSM modem in the electric control unit

6.1

Version 1

 Switch the master switch off and disconnect the control unit from
the power supply. Remove the terminal compartment cover.

 Make sure that the power is switched off.
 Loosen the screw of the master switch knob (do not remove it completely) and press the
screw downwards with a light blow. This releases the internal cone and the knob can be
pulled off.
 Remove the four outer mounting screws on the front panel.
Statically discharge your body by touching the ground potential.

Lift the right side of the front panel and carefully tip it to the left.

 Attention! Do not touch any electronic components.
 Remove the flat cable connector from the front panel.
 Place the front panel on a dry and clean surface with the foil-covered side downwards.

Operating and installation manual for GSM mode
The GSM modem should be installed at the factory. If the modem
is to be retrofitted, the following working procedure must be
observed.
Attention! When retrofitting the modem, it is possible that
functionally relevant components must be removed. Any damage
resulting from improper handling is not covered by the product
warranty. Retrofitting may only be done by suitably qualified
persons.
