Intended use

The GSM modem is manufactured for use in Germany. In other countries than Germany,
Austria and Switzerland, it may only be operated with a manual in the corresponding
language.
Installation and commissioning of the device require special expert
knowledge (telecommunications, electronics, electrotechnology, etc.).
Correct installation and commissioning must be ensured by the purchaser or
the owner/operator.
Hereby, all instructions in this manual and the technical documentation as well as the
information on the device (type label, etc.) must be observed. In case of doubt, the device
must be taken out of operation and the manufacturer consulted.
A SIM card (Mini SIM 3V) with activation for the required operating mode (data link, SMS) is
necessary.

General description

The GSM modem is intended as an extension module for the pump control unit.
It is a Quadband GSM/GPRS Class 10 module.
The GSM transceiver module serves for transmitting data, SMS, SMS to fax and SMS to e-
mail in GSM networks.
Alarm and fault messages detected by the pump control unit can be transmitted to max. four
stored target phone numbers.
