– DO NOT use this product or any available
optional equipment without first completely
reading and understanding these instructions
and any additional instructional material such

of the Cushion Rigidizer.
– The procedures in this manual MUST be
performed by a qualified technician.
– Movement of the Cushion Rigidizer within the
cushion may occur causing discomfort to the
user if not properly installed.
– Do NOT use this accessory on wheelchairs with
a rigid seat pan.
– Use this accessory ONLY on wheelchairs with
either nylon or sling seat upholsteries.

– Use of the Cushion Rigidizer does NOT change
the weight limitation of the wheelchair.
– The Cushion Rigidizer has a weight limitation of
136 kg (300 lbs).

3 Product Overview

3.1 Product Description

The Invacare Cushion Rigidizer fits between the seat rails for
level support and to reduce the hammock effect of the seat
upholstery. It securely attaches to the bottom of the cushion
inside the cushion cover.

3.2 Scope of Delivery
