6. Switching USB-Ports On and Off
Managing USB device statuses via software:
Proceed as follows to activate the software control function:
Set the corresponding DIP switch pin to the "ON" position.
Establish a connection to the internal control port within the graphical user interface (GUI)
(description: "Control", USB device name: "USB-Serial Controller"). This enables access to the
control port in the network for interaction with the software.
Control Connection
Navigate to the "Control" tab in the GUI and click "Auto Search" to find all managed USB
devices. Identify the control port connected to the device server, click on it and then click on the
port number displayed on the right-hand side to switch the USB port on or off.
