6. Switching USB-Ports On and Off

Manage USB device connections:
The EX-6005HMVS(-PoE) offers two methods for connecting or disconnecting USB devices.
Manually via DIP switches or remotely via the user interface (GUI). It also supports an API for
programmatic control of device connections. Here is a demonstration of how these functionalities
can be used.
Disconnecting the USB devices via DIP switch:
Set the corresponding DIP switch pin to the OFF position (away from the side marked "ON"). As
soon as it is set to OFF, the USB device is disconnected and simulates a disconnected state.
Please note that DIP switch number 4 has no function!
