5. Configuration of the EX-6005HMVS(-PoE)
9. Configure in the app:
To configure the server via the GUI app, please double-click on the listed USB device or
select the server in the "Remote Server(s)" window. Then click on the "Configure in the
app" button. Enter the password (default is "admin") and click "Submit" to apply the
changes.
10. Description for the settings:
Both the graphical user interface and the web-based configuration programs offer the
following functions:
Host-Name: Change the host name, a descriptive string that represents the EX-
6005HMVS(-PoE).
Location: Specify the location where the EX-6005HMVS(-PoE) is physically located.
Network Setup: Configure the network settings, including DHCP, IP, subnet mask and
gateway address.
USB Device List:
In this section you will find a number of configurations that determine how your EX-
6005HMVS(-PoE) interacts in the network and communicates with connected devices.
These settings include:
Share: Switch to "On" to activate sharing for the device. Switch to "Off" to deactivate
sharing.
Connected IP (non-cangeable): Displays the client IP address that the device is cur
rently using. Click on the "Refresh" button if devices have been plugged in or unplugged.
Device Name (non-changeable): Displays the name of the current USB device that is
connected.
