Instructions for Use – Hercules Prime R129
8.4 Headrest extension (depth)
This lateral extension of the headrest protects users who are sensitive to sensory
overload when traveling by car. The extension is also suitable for users who require
greater lateral support. The extension can be adjusted individually on each side.
To install, first remove the padding from the headrest.
Insert the extension into the slots and tighten the screws again. (Fig. 47)
Now reattach the padding to the headrest. To ensure a proper fit, stick the supplied
Velcro strip to the headrest and attach the padding to it.
Remove the original Velcro strip from the headrest to prevent damage to your vehicle.
8.5 Additional extension (head area)
The back extension in the head area provides an enlarged area where the user's
head can rest.
First, pull the backrest cushion off the top of the backrest plate.
Use the two holes in the backrest plate to screw the back extension to the backrest
plate. (Fig. 48) The slots in the back extension allow the height to be adjusted to suit
the individual user. Tighten the nuts securely.
To install the back cushion, it is necessary to adjust the available length of the back
cushion. To do this, loosen the lower end of the back cushion under the seat cushion.
Now pull the back cushion back over the extension of the back plate. Now reattach
the lower end of the back cushion to the Velcro strip under the seat cushion.
8.6 Lateral trunk supports, rigid / swing-away
Slide the thorax pelotte pads past the side cover onto the back plate to fit the thorax
pelotte pad slot in the back plate. (Fig. 31)
Insert the carriage bolts through the slots from the rear and fasten them from the
front using the open-end wrench.
If you want to use the outer slot, then remove the side cover and mount the lateral
trunk support directly on the back plate.
Then attach the side cover back onto the back plate and over the holder of the lat-
eral trunk support.
Attention: Lateral trunk supports and upper body guides cannot be used at the same time!
8.7 Upper body guide rigid / swing-away
Slide the upper body guides past the side cover onto the back plate to fit the upper
body guides slot in the back plate. (Fig. 31)
Insert the carriage bolts from behind through the slots and fasten them from the front
using the open-end wrench.
Then clip the side cover back onto the back plate and over the holder for the upper body guides.
