6 Examples for positioning of the product

7 Affixing the AI T320-R to a tool
When you register runtime tags in your ON!Track account, the time zone set on your smartphone is
applied to the time zone of the runtime tag. This determines how the runtime data is made available
through the ON! Track unit APIs for your account. Consequently, make sure that the time zone on
your smartphone matches the time zone of your business, or else activate automatic setting of the
time zone by the smartphone.
1. To affix the AI T320-R to your product, you need the correct double-sided adhesive tape
AI T320 #2329390.
2. Clean the surface of the product in accordance with the information given in the instructions for use of
the adhesive tape.
3. Remove one backing foil from the double-sided adhesive tape and position the underside of the
AI T320-R precisely on the adhesive tape.
Do not cover up the QR code, which is on the top of the AI T320-R.
4. Remove the second backing foil and affix the AI T320-R to your tool. Follow the directions below and
the directions in the instructions for use of the double-sided adhesive tape.
5. Positioning of the AI T320-R on the tool.
• Not over air vents.
• Not on vibration-damped parts of the tool, for example the grip.
• Only on flat surfaces, not on curved surfaces.
• Not on hot surfaces, such as the engine block.
8 Transport
When traveling by air, observe the airline's regulations regarding restrictions on the use of personal
electronic devices and wireless data transmission.
9 Disposal
The Hilti ON!Track smart tag AI T320-R contains a permanently installed button-cell battery. For disposal,
therefore, treat the product as a button-cell battery.
Do not dispose of the AI T320-R as household waste. Instead, dispose of it in accordance with national
regulations.
