Dear customer,
we would like to thank you for the acquisition of the radio equipment CV Mobil.
You have acquired a robust and reliable product which is built to the latest and hig-
hest technological standards.
The product is EMC-tested and fulfils the requirements of the guideline
89/336/EEC (electro-magnetic compatibility) and therefore it corresponds to
the standards of the established European and national guidelines. CE-confor-
mity has been proven; the relevant documents are in the possession of the
manufacturer.
Approval/ conformity
The device type CV-Mobil 4000 has been tested in accordance with the regulations
ETS 300 135 & ETS 300 680 and has been approved. The device does not have to be
registered in Germany, Austria and most of the other European CEPT countries and
is free of charge.
The device types CV Mobil 4012 and 8012 have been tested additionally in accor-
dance with the European regulation ETS 300433. The devices CV Mobil 4012 and
8012 are only approved for operation in Germany. The devices does not have to be
registered and are free of charge.
The corresponding application forms are delivered with the devices. Since the majo-
rity of Germany's neighbouring countries demand that the radio applications of the
respective country must not be disturbed by the operation of 80 channel CB radio
devices which can be operated on the channels 41 to 80, the safety distances bet-
ween Germany and these countries have to be kept. Within these safety distances,
80-channel radio devices must not be operated on the channels 41 to 80. If you have
any question relating to these safety zones, please contact the Deutschen Arbeits-
