Empty the dust compartment after each vacuuming or as
necessary. For best results it is recommended that the dust
compartment is emptied regularly.
1
Press the locking catch and remove the dust compartment.
3
2
Remove the filter holder from the dust compartment by
pressing the catch with your thumb.
3
Empty the dust compartment. A useful tip: to prevent dust
from escaping, hold a plastic bag securely around the dust
compartment and empty the contents into the plastic bag.
Wait 30 seconds for the dust to settle before removing and
sealing the plastic bag. Clean and dry the dust compartment
if necessary. Remove any particles from the Cyclone cone.
4
Replace the filter holder and ensure that it sits properly.
5
Insert the dust compartment front side first, as shown in the
picture, until the catch clicks to engage. Do not try to close
with force.
The vacuum cleaner stops automatically if a blockage occurs in
the nozzle, tube, hose or the filters or Cyclone cone become
blocked with dirt. In such cases, disconnect from the mains and
allow the cleaner to cool for 30 minutes. Remove the blockage
and/or clean the filters, and then restart the vacuum cleaner.
6
6
Use a cleaning strip or similar to clear the tubes and hose.
7
It may also be possible to remove the obstruction in the
hose by squeezing the hose. Be careful however in case
the obstruction is caused by glass or needles caught inside
the hose.
Note. The warranty does not cover any damage to hose caused
by cleaning it.
8
To avoid deterioration of the carpet/hard floor nozzle clean
it as often as possible. The easiest way to clean it is by
using the hose handle.
