8.0 PROTECTION AND
SAFETY WARNINGS
The cooktop is equipped with high-power induction plates. Heat is generated directly at the
bottom of the pot, where it is most needed, reducing losses through the glass surface. The
glass itself does not heat directly but absorbs the residual heat transferred from the pot. This
residual heat is indicated by the letter "H" after the plate has been turned off.
The induction plate produces heat through an induction coil installed under the glass surface.
The coil generates a magnetic field at the bottom of the pot (which must be magnetic),
creating swirling current flows that produce heat.
8.1 COOKING TIME LIMITER
The time limit function is an important safety feature that automatically turns off the cooking
zones after a certain period of inactivity. The shut-off time is indicated in the table below. Any
user operation related to the cooking zone will reset this time limit.
