Initializing PRO-Check
When you first use the PRO-Check or a new gas reservoir, you must enter the serial number
and a code to initialize PRO-Check or the gas reservoir. In doing so, Protec P3000 checks
the production date of the gas reservoir since this has a limited service life.
You must have written down the serial number and identification located on the gas reser-
voir or you can refer to the supplied certificate for this information.
Up to software version 2.93:
Select "Settings > Display > Display mode > Advanced" and subsequently "History &
Maintenance > Replace PRO-Check."
From software version 3.11:
Select "History & Maintenance > Replace PRO-Check".

The Protec P3000 reports "Invalid input" if the PRO-Check cannot be identified with the
number.
