Description - PRO-Check-Calibrated leak
Photocell
You can use the PRO-Check to calibrate the Protec P3000 leak detector and check the
calibration in the following mode.
It is designed in such a way that calibration starts automatically as soon as you insert the
sniffer probe into the PRO-Check.
The PRO-Check can be integrated into the front panel of the Protec P3000. Alternatively, it
can be connected to the Protec P3000 via a Sub-D cable and removed from the device, e.g.
installed directly at the measuring station.
Setup
The PRO-Check consists of a housing and a gas reservoir. The housing has a calibration
port in the front. The housing accommodates the required electronics. The 9-pin D-sub
connector and two magnets sit on the back side. The magnets hold the PRO-Check in the
Protec P3000.
The gas reservoir is screwed into the housing.

A photocell is located in the calibration port that registers it when the sniffer probe is
inserted into the calibration port. The photocell is protected against contamination by a
transparent plastic tube. The tube may be removed for cleaning when the gas reservoir is
unscrewed.
