• Always use the support surface with the compatible bed frame as indicated in the specifications section of this manual.
• Always secure the support surface between the support surface retainers on the bed frame.
To set up the support surface:
1. Place the support surface on the compatible bed frame so that the Stryker logo is facing up and is at the head end of the
bed.
2. Align the support surface cover so the watershed cover barrier points down (Figure 2).

3. Make sure that the support surface is between the support surface retainers on each side of the bed frame (Figure 3).

4. Pull the watershed cover barrier over the zipper.
5. Place linens on the support surface before patient use following your hospital protocols.

1. Center the bed extender support surface with the support surface on the bed frame.
