OPERATION
After you switch on the device with the power button the device starts running. The display indicates the last
operating mode. The operating modes can be selected by means of the display and the control buttons. All
settings remain stored even if the device is disconnected from the mains. The device can be operated in
stand-alone mode via the control board and via remote control (EUROLITE IR-38) and controlled via DMX
signal.
Stand-alone mode
In the stand-alone mode, you can do without a controller. Disconnect the device from the controller and de-
activate wireless DMX and call up the desired setting. Please refer to the instructions under Control Board.
Interconnecting several devices (master/slave operation)
Several devices may be interconnected (max. 32). Then all slave units can be synchronized and controlled
with the master unit without the need for a DMX controller. The devices must be set to the corresponding
operating modes.

Configure all slave units before connecting the master unit: Press the MENU button until Mas/Slav is
indicated on the display. Confirm with the ENTER button. Set "Slave" on all slave units with the UP and
DOWN buttons. Confirm with the ENTER button. Set "Master" on the master unit using the UP and
DOWN buttons. Confirm with the ENTER button.

Connect the DMX output of the master unit to the DMX input of the first slave unit. Then connect the
DMX output of the first slave unit to the DMX input of the second slave unit, etc. until all units have been
connected in a chain. Make sure the master unit is the first in the chain. Do not connect a DMX controller
to the DMX input of the master unit.

Set the master unit to the desired operating mode. The interconnected devices will now operate
synchronously.
Wireless Master/Slave operation
Set the master device and each slave device to the same transmission channel. To do this, use the menu
option ID Set on the uplight.
To switch the transmission channel, press the Enter button. Wait until the next channel is displayed before
pressing the Enter button again.
The QuickDMX status indicator on the display shortly flashes R, G and B. It then lights up continuously
according to the set transmission channel.
The selected transmission channel is indicated by the status indicator.

Choose the device which is to control the effects. This device then works as master device and controls all
other slave devices.
Set the master device to the desired mode. Set the slave mode (SLAVE) on every slave device. Please refer
to the instructions under Control Board.
