3.
Slide the transmitter onto the mounting
plate with the window open until it clicks
into place.
4.
Test whether the receiver turns off when
the window is closed. If not, adjust the
pressure switch by turning it out slightly
with the tool (6) and retesting. Repeat
this process until the receiver deactivates
when the window is closed.
Note: Two different attachments (7) for the
pressure switch are included. Use the one that
fits your window.
MOUNTING THE OVEN TRANSMITTER
Installation Instructions for the oven
transmitter (8) with thermal sensor (15)
Note: To avoid burns, ensure the oven is
turned off and has cooled down before
installation!
The thermal sensor (15) is inserted through
a hole in the flue pipe and secured using the
included mounting bracket. The transmitter
should not be covered by a casing, as this may
interfere with the wireless signal and reduce
its range.
1.
Drill a 4mm hole in a suitable location on
the flue pipe for the thermal sensor.
Ensure the hole is positioned so that the
thermal sensor is not visible after
installation.
2.
Slide the mounting bracket over the
thermal sensor, but do not tighten the
fixing screw yet.
3.
Insert the thermal sensor into the drilled
hole until it stops.
4.
Position the mounting bracket on the flue
pipe, mark the two mounting holes with a
suitable marker, and then remove the
thermal sensor and bracket.
5.
Drill 2mm holes at the marked points on
the flue pipe.
6.
Note: For double-walled flue pipes, drill
only through the outer layer carefully!
7.
Secure the mounting bracket to the flue
pipe using the two supplied sheet metal
screws.
8.
Reinsert the thermal sensor through the
mounting bracket until it stops, then fix
it in place with the side screw. Do not
overtighten to avoid damaging the
thermal sensor.
9.
If not already connected, attach the sensor
cable to the oven transmitter. Loosen the
screws on the back of the transmitter
marked RED and BLACK. Connect the
red cable to the RED terminal and the
black cable to the BLACK terminal.
Tighten the screws securely.
10. Remove the battery compartment cover
by gently pressing and sliding it in the
direction of the arrow.
11. Choose a suitable location for mounting
the oven transmitter (8). The transmitter
must be at least 50cm away from the
flue pipe to prevent heat damage to the
module. Avoid mounting behind a casing
to ensure optimal signal range.
12. Secure the oven transmitter using the
screws provided, or alternatively, use the
included double-sided adhesive pad. Clean
the mounting surface before applying the
adhesive pad. Ensure all components are
securely installed.
Route the thermal sensor cable to the oven
transmitter.
