CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
Careful:
Ensure that the appliance is switched off.
Note:
When the appliance is cleaned regularly, this will increase its life span.
1. Clean the exterior of the appliance. Use a damp cloth.
2. Clean the seals of the door. Use a soft cloth.
3. Clean the inside of the appliance in case of severe contamination:
a. Fill the dishwasher detergent reservoir with a special cleaning agent for dishwashers.
b. Select a programme with a high temperature.
c. Start the programme.
CLEANING THE FILTERS
The filter system of the appliance consists of three components:
the main filter, the micro filter and the strainer. Clean the filters weekly.
Warning:
Do not use the appliance without the filter system.
Note:
Clean filters ensure that your appliance is working correctly.
1. Remove the lower basket.
2. Turn the main filter (A) counter-clockwise to remove it. See figure 22.
Caution: the micro filter is fastened to the main filter.
3. Remove the main filter (A) from the micro filter (B). See figure 23.
4. Remove the strainer (C). See figure 24.
5. Clean the main filter, micro filter and strainer. Use warm water and a washing-up brush.
6. Place the strainer.
7. Place the main filter in the micro filter. Ensure that the marks are aligned.
8. Place the main filter in the strainer.
9. Turn the main filter (A) clockwise to attach it. See figure 25.
