LOADING THE APPLIANCE

Correctly placing the items to be washed in the appliance has a positive effect on energy consumption and washing and
drying performance of your appliance.
You can place items in the cutlery basket, upper basket and lower basket.
Careful: Ensure to load the appliance in such a way that the items do not block the upper and lower spray arm.
When the spray arms are blocked, they are unable to rotate while washing.
Careful: Load the appliance in such a way, that the items do not block the spring lock of the dishwasher detergent
reservoir. When the dishwasher detergent reservoir is blocked, it cannot be opened during the washing process.
Notes:
- Rinse the items before placing them in the appliance.
- Do not overload the baskets and place the items in the correct basket.
Loading the cutlery basket
The cutlery basked is designed for placing cutlery.
Warning: Place sharp cutlery items, such as knives and forks, with their points pointing downwards in the cutlery
basket to prevent injury.
Careful:
Ensure that there is no cutlery protruding from the bottom of the basket.
1. Place the cutlery one-by-one in a compartment of the cutlery basket to make sure that the spray arms are able to reach
all cutlery items. See figure 15.
Loading the upper basket
The upper basket is designed for placing cups and saucers, small bowls and glasses. You can adjust the height of the upper
basket racks to create more space.
1. If necessary, adjust the height of the upper basket racks.
See section Adjusting the height of the upper basket racks.
2. Place the items in the upper basket. See figure 16.
3. Ensure that you place wine glasses and long stemmed glasses against the edge of the basket, rack or glass support.
4. Place long, small utensils such as wooden spoons in the middle of the upper basket.

the glasses.
