3.FUEL SEDIMENT CUP SERVICE
Gasoline is extremely flammable and is explosive under certain
conditions. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area.
The filter prevents dirt or water which may be in the fuel tank from
entering the carburetor. If the engine has not been run for a long time,
the filter should be cleaned.
1.Turn the fuel valve lever to the OFF position.
2.Remove the screw and remove the fuel valve lever.
3.Remove the four 6 mm flange bolts and left side cover.
4.Slowly pull the starter rope fully.
At the take-off port of the
starter rope from the recoil
starter case, make a knot in the
starter rope as shown so it does
not return. Stand the left side
cover against the front side so it
does not interfere with your
work. Take care not to
damage the starter rope.
