Decoder 5240: Einbau in Loks ohne NEM
651-Schnittstelle
Zum Einbau in Loks ohne Schnittstellenbuchse
verwenden Sie bitte den Decoder mit Anschluss-
drähten (Art. Nr. 5240). Beachten Sie unbedingt
die Belegung der Anschlüsse (Tabelle oben) und
die Abbildung 3.
► Trennen Sie die Verbindungen des Motors zu
den Stromabnehmern (Radkontakte) bzw. bei
Loks mit elektronischem Umschalter die Ver-
bindungen des Umschalters zum Motor und zu
dem Schleifer bzw. zu den Radkontakten. Der
Umschalter wird nicht mehr benötigt und sollte
entfernt werden.
► Löten Sie die von den Radkontakten kommen-
den Anschlüsse an den Kabeln „Gleis1" und
„Gleis 2" an.
► Löten Sie dann die vom Motor kommenden
Anschlüsse an den Punkten „Mot 1" und „Mot
2" an. Sollte die Fahrtrichtung der Lok im Ana-
logbetrieb nicht mit der am Trafo eingestellten
Fahrtrichtung übereinstimmen, müssen Sie die
Anschlüsse „Gleis 1" und „Gleis 2" austau-
schen.

Decoder 5240: Installation in
locomotives without NEM 651 socket
Please use the decoder 5240 with wire harness
but without plug for installation in locomotives
without NEM socket.
Observe the contact configuration as per the table
below and Figure 3.
► Disconnect the motor from the wheel pick-ups
or the change-of-direction relay respectively the
wires from the electronic relay to the motor and
to the centre pick-up or wheel contacts. The re-
lay is no longer need and should be removed.
► Solder the wires coming from the wheel con-
tacts to the pads "Gleis 1" and "Gleis 2" (Track1
and track2).
► Next solder the wires from the motor to
the points "Mot1" and "Mot2". Should the
locomotive´s direction in analogue mode not
match the direction of travel of your transform-
er you should swap the wires on "Gleis 1" and
"Gleis 2".
