Inserting and removing the
battery
WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Only insert
the battery into the device once the
device is fully prepared for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incor-
rect battery can damage the device
and battery.
Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (16) along the
guide into the battery holder (4).
You will hear the battery click into
place.
Removing the battery
1. Press and hold the battery release
(15) on the battery (16).
2. Pull the battery out of the battery
holder (4).
Switching on and off
Notes
• The brush will keep rotating for a
few seconds after the device has
been switched off. Keep hands
and feet at a safe distance.

WARNING! A damaged switch

the motor not being switched off
after releasing the on/off switch.
Do not try to lock the on/off switch
in place. Do not use the device if
the switch is damaged.
Switching on
1. Press and hold the switch lock (3).
2. Press the On/Off switch (1).
The device starts up.
3. Release the switch lock (3).
Switching off
1. To turn it off, release the on/off
switch (1).
2. Remove the rechargeable bat-
tery (16) from the device if you are
leaving the device unattended or if
you have finished working.
Transport
Information on transporting the
device:
• Switch off the device and remove
the battery. Make sure that all
moving parts have come to a com-
plete stop.
• Always carry the device with both
hands, one on the handle (2) and
the other on the auxiliary handle
(11).
