Assembling the motor head

• The telescopic guide rail can only
be attached to the motor head
in one position. Ensure that the
groove fits into the notch in the
telescopic guide rail.
Procedure
1. Attach the telescopic guide rail (6)
to the motor head (8).
2. Tighten the coupling nut (20) by
hand onto the threaded element.

1. Place the wheel (9) on the motor
head (8).
You will hear it click into place.
Only one position is possible.
Removing the wheel
1. Pull the wheel (9) off.
Fitting the guard cover
Procedure (Fig. B)
1. Place the protective cover (7) on
the motor head (8).
2. Fasten the guard cover with the
three screws (21).
Fitting the auxiliary handle

1. Loosen the screw (12) from the
auxiliary handle (11).
2. Insert the auxiliary handle into the
holder beneath the handle (2).
There are several possible latching
positions.
3. Secure the auxiliary handle with
the screw (12).
Selecting the proper brush
Wire brush (13)
For removing stubborn lichens and
mosses from insensitive surfaces.
CAUTION! Use the steel brush on
robust surfaces only (road, pavement)
as it may damage and/or scratch the
ground.
Nylon brush (14)
For removing weeds, lichens and
moss from small narrow joints.

stored in the accessories compart-
ment (10).
Inserting the brush (Fig. C)
1. Push the brush support (22) to-
wards the motor head (8).
2. Insert the brush (13, 14) into the
brush support.
3. Release the brush support.
