2. Notes on handling the unit
• Vertically
orient the unit.
• If the unit suffers a vibration or shock while in operation, the
scanned imagemaybeaffected.Placetheunit in alocationfreeof
vibrations
or shocks.
• The slide mount handles slide thicknesses between 1.5 mm and 2
mm.
• When the film scanner cannot be inserted smoothly, do not attempt
to force it into the unit.
• Neverattempt t o detachor touchthefilm while film is beingread.
• Neverattempt t o insertyourfingersin anyopeningsuchasthefilm
carrier insertion
port.
• There is live terminals inside the unit, such as for the lamp and other
parts.Neverattemptto disassemble t heunit andalwaysbeawareof
the danger of electric shock.

Should
an error
occur
Should abnormal situations such assmoke, strange smells or sounds
be detected,immediately turn off the power and unplug the power
cord from the outlet, then contact an authorized Konica sales
representative.
2. Hinweise zum Umgang mit dem Gerät
• Das Gerät vertikal
ausrichten.
• Wenn das Gerät Vibrationen OderErschütterungenausgesetzt w ird,
während esim Betrieb ist, kann das gescannteBild beeinträchtigt
werden. Das Gerät immer so aufstellen, daß es vor Vibrationen und
Erschütterungen geschützt ist.
• Die Diahalterung nimmt Diastärken zwischen
auf.
• WennderFilmträgernicht glatt eingesetzt werdenkann,nicht
versuchenihn gewaltsameinzuschieben.
• Nicht versuchen,den Film zu entnehmenOderzu beriihren, während
er gescanntwird.
• Nicht dieFingerin eineÖffnungwie dieFilmträger-Einsetzöffnung,
Stecken.
• 1m Inneren des Gerätes befinden sich Teile, die unter Spannung
stehen, w ie etwaTeilederLampe.NiemalsdasGerätzerlegen, u nd
immer darauf achten, elektrische Schläge zu vermeiden.
3. Bei Betriebsstörungen
Wenn anormaleBetriebsbedingungenwie Rauchentwicklung,
merkwürdige Gerüche OderGeräusche auftreten, s ofortdasGerät
ausschalten und den Netzsteeker abziehen. Anschließend eine
autorisierte Konica-Kundendienstvertretung benachrichtigen.

• Des bornes nu setrouvent dansl' appareil, comme pour la lampe et
d'autresorganes. N 'essayez jamaisdedémonter l ' appareil e tsoyez
toujoursconscient d esrisquesd'électrocution.

En cas d'erreur
Si vous constatez une situation anormale, telle que la présence d'une
fumée, d'une odeur ou de sonsétranges,coupez immédiatement
I' alimentation et débranchezle cordon d' alimentation au niveau de la
prisesecteur, puiscontactez unreprésentant deventes Konica agréé.
