D) MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
1) Keep nuts and bolts tightened to en-
sure that the machine is always in a safe
operating condition. Regular maintenan-
ce is essential for safety and to maintain
performance levels.
2) Wear work gloves when working on the
cutting device.
3) Sharpening the blades. All operations
involving blades are jobs that require
specific expertise as well as the use of
appropriate equipment; for safety rea-
sons, they should be carried out at a spe-
cialised centre.
4) For safety reasons, never operate the
machine with worn or damaged parts.
Damaged parts must be replaced and
never repaired. Only use original spare
parts. Parts of non-equivalent quality can
damage the machine and impair safety.
5) Store the machine out of the reach of
children!

E) TRANSPORT AND HANDLING
1) Whenever it is necessary to move or
transport the machine, it is necessary:
- switch off the engine, wait for the bla-
des to stop and disconnect the spark
plug cap;
- apply blade protection;

Only apply blade protection when the
engine is switched off
- Only grasp the machine by the handles
and orient the blades in the opposite di-
rection to the direction of travel.
2) When transporting the machine in a
vehicle, it must be positioned so that it
does not constitute a danger to anyone
and must be securely locked to prevent it
from tipping over with possible damage
and fuel spillage.
