if the user is unable to hold the machine
firmly with two hands and/or balance on
his legs during work.
6) Remember that the operator or user is
responsible for accidents and incidents
that may occur to other people or their
property.
B) PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
⚠ DANGER! check that the equipment is
correctly assembled to the machine. To
assemble or disassemble the equipment,
use the two fixing screws shown in the fi-
gure.
1) During work, suitable clothing must be
worn that does not constitute an impedi-
ment to the user.
- Wear tight-fitting protective clothing
with cut protection.
- Wear gloves, protective goggles and
cut-resistant shoes with non-slip soles.
- Use headphones to protect your hearing.
- Do not wear scarves, gowns, necklaces
and any hanging or loose accessories
that could get caught in the machine or
in objects and materials in the workplace.
- Gather long hair properly.
2) Before starting work, ensure that all
guards are correctly fitted.
C) DURING USE
1)Work only in daylight or good artificial light.
2) Assume a firm and stable position:
- As far as possible, avoid working on
wet or slippery ground or in any case on
excessively rough or steep terrain that
does not guarantee the stability of the
operator during work;
- avoid the use of unstable ladders and
platforms;
- never run, but walk and pay attention
to unevenness of the ground and the
pre-emption of any obstacles.
3) Check that the machine's idle speed
is such that the blades cannot move and
that, after acceleration, the engine qui-
ckly returns to idle.
4) Take care not to bump the blade vio-
lently against foreign bodies and possi-
ble material projections caused by sli-
ding blades.
5) Stop the engine, wait for the blades to
stop. disconnect the spark plug cap and
apply the blade guard:
- whenever the car is left unattended.
- before refuelling.

7) Danger of injury! Keep any persons or
pets at least 2 m away when using the
machine.
8) Maintain engine speed at the level re-
quired to perform cutting work and never
increase engine speed beyond the level
required.
9) Avoid running the engine at full throttle
without load. Continuous full throttle ope-
ration can cause damage to the engine
and drive shaft.
