2. SYMBOLS
1) Caution! Danger.
2) Read the instruction manual before using this machine.
3) Avoid contact with the cutting attachment, risk of injury!
- Keep any persons or pets at least 2 m away when using the machine!
- Operating in an area free of obstacles
- Always work in stable and safe positions. Avoid working on ladders, steps, and in
general on surfaces that are not perfectly stable.
- The user is obliged to comply with any national regulations that may restrict the use
of the machine.
4) The gearbox heats up during operation. Do not touch the gearbox - danger of burns.

3. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

WARNING: The machine you have purchased has been built to be commissioned
by a specialised centre. Commissioning by the end user is prohibited
A) TRAINING
1) Read the instructions carefully. Fami-
liarise yourself with the controls and pro-
per use of the machine. Learn how to stop
the engine quickly.
2) Use the machine for its intended pur-
pose, i.e.
- cutting tall grasses, brushwood, twigs
and non-woody shrubs up to 1.5 cm in
diameter (e.g. on the edges of flower-
beds, plantations, walls, fences, or green
spaces of limited surface area, to finish
the cut made with a mower). Any other
use may prove to be dangerous and
cause damage to the machine. Improper
use includes (as an example, but not li-
mited to).
- using the machine for sweeping;
- regularising hedges or other work
where the cutting device is not used at

ground level;
- pruning trees;
- Use the machine with the cutting device
above the operator's belt line;
- use the machine for cutting materials of
non-plant origin;
- use the machine in more than one person.
3) Never allow the machine to be used
by children or persons unfamiliar with the
instructions. Local laws may set a mini-
mum age for the user.
4) The machine must not be used by
more than one person.
5) Never use the machine:
with people, especially children, or animals
within 2 metres of the car;
if the user is tired or unwell, or has taken me-
dication, drugs, alcohol or substances that
impair his or her reflexes and attention span;
