Instructions for burglar alarm system installation for Pegasus Pro safe series
Dismantle the right-side trim:
Now dismantle the right-side trim from the wooden insert by unscrewing the fastening screws from the wooden wall. Now you can remove the right-side trim to the front (Fig. 4+5).
If no cable transition has been fitted at the factory, you must drill a Ø12 mm hole (for the cable passage) at the marked point (uppermost of the three holes, see Fig. 6) in the right-hand
wooden wall. The cable transition is later screwed to this prepared location and to the door panel. There is a slotted hole and two M3 threaded holes on the door panel to accommodate the cable
transition.
The burglar alarm system cable is led from the back right at the bottom between the wooden wall and the safe wall to the front and then along in front of the lower support upwards and pulled
inwards through the Ø12 mm cable hole in the wooden wall. Now pull the burglar alarm system cable leading to the door through the cable transition (Fig. 7).
Now the burglar alarm system components (structure-borne sound detector, distributor, breakaway detector, door magnet) can be mounted on the floor.
After all burglar alarm system components have been installed, the cable transition and the right-side trim are screwed back on. To complete the work on the safe body, the bottom cover must
be inserted. Make sure that the seal on the bottom cover is not damaged, the sealing level must be flush with the surrounding seals (left/right/top) (see Fig. 1).
