The safe is set up for the installation of a VdS-approved burglar alarm system in accordance with the provisions of the VdS guideline for burglar alarm systems VdS 2264. The preliminary setup
for a burglar alarm system described below is certified by VdS under identification number G 109035.
Please talk to your insurance company about approval of the burglar alarm system, as the insurance cover for your safe may increase following professional installation of the burglar alarm
system components.
Installation, connection, fine adjustment and commissioning of the components for the burglar alarm system is always carried out on site by the customer's own system
installer.

Installation and operating instructions for the installer of the burglar alarm system
The burglar alarm system data sheet provided describes which components can be installed in the safe and where they should be installed.
All burglar alarm system components that are included in a VdS-approved burglar alarm system must comply with VdS class C.
The safe has the appropriate threaded holes for installation of the components described on the data sheet; no other mounting plates etc. are therefore required. The fitting positions of the
structure-borne sound detectors are left unpainted in the factory; a cover plate may have to be removed.
In order to lead the burglar alarm system cables from the safe door to the safe interior, the safe may already be equipped with a cable transition, which is screwed to the door panel and to the
inner side wall (hinge side). Please then note point 1.
In both the rear wall and in the right side wall of the safe (bottom right) there is a cable exit hole of 11 mm in diameter.
Mounting the burglar alarm system components in the door:
To install the components in the door, the door panel must first be removed.
Please proceed as follows:
1.
Unscrew the end piece of the cable transition from the door panel and then press the cable transition out of the end piece.
2.
Unscrew the fastening screws from the door panel.
3.
Remove the white security seal on the door panel. When the panel is removed, the seal is destroyed and must be replaced with a new one.
Attention: Only companies approved by the manufacturer (e.g. service technicians, burglar alarm system installers) have access to these seals by agreement with the manufacturer. A
destroyed seal, therefore, indicates that the door trim panel has not been opened properly, which may invalidate the certification.
4.
Lift the door panel out of the fitting clips and remove it. When doing so, make sure that any existing cables in the cable transition or in the door are not damaged.
On completion of the burglar alarm system installation work, a new security seal must be affixed to the door panel. The surfaces must be free of grease.
NOTE: For larger safes, it is recommended that 2 people carry out this work to prevent injuries when handling the heavy door panel.
ATTENTION: Only approved service technicians may work on the bolt mechanism, the protection plate, the emergency locking devices and locks; otherwise the certification of the safe
may be invalidated.
