1.
Manufacturer's instructions for safe operation:
Before using for the first time (opening the safe door), please make sure that the safe is correctly set up. The
safe must also be secured against tilting.
When closing the safe door, make absolutely sure that there are no limbs between the safe door and the safe
body. Otherwise there is a risk of crushing of trapped limbs.
Before closing the safe door, make sure that the locking bolts in the safe door are retracted. Extended latch bolts
bump against the safe body when the door is closed, causing the locking mechanism to become damaged and
malfunction.
Tamper protection: To prevent unnoticed tampering inside the door, the door panel is equipped with a seal.
With the key lock version, keep the keys in a safe place, but not in the
safe!
If the code lock is used, write down the numerical code and keep it in a safe place,
but not in the safe!
WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE!
There is a danger of suffocation from packaging and protective films. Keep packaging and protective films away from
children.
2.
Operation
Safes of the Pegasus Pro series are always equipped with a two-lock system. The safe is equipped with two double-bit key
locks as standard. Two keys are included for each key lock.
Optionally, a combination of two other lock types can be installed (e.g. 1x key lock and 1x electronic lock or 2x electronic
lock).
NOTE: There is no set sequence for opening and closing the two locks.

2.1 Opening the door

Safes with two double-bit key locks:
Open the first lock: Insert the matching key into the keyhole and turn it clockwise as far as it will go.
Open the second lock: Insert the matching key into the second keyhole and turn it clockwise as far as it will go. Now
turn the door handle clockwise as far as it will go and pull the door open.
For safes with left-hinged doors, the door handle must be turned anticlockwise when opening.
NOTE: Please note that the double-bit keys have two different sides (bits). When inserting the key into the
keyhole, the longer side must point towards the door handle.
Safes with one or two mechanical combination locks:
The combination lock comes with its own operating instructions. Open the door analogous to the key lock version.
IMPORTANT: Please change the pre-set factory code and replace it with a code of your choice.
To change the factory code, there is a hole in the door trim at the level of the lock. Remove the cover cap from the hole
and insert the change key into the combination lock.
The door trim does not have to be removed for this!
Safes with one or two electronic code locks:
The code lock comes with its own operating instructions. Open the door analogous to the key lock version.
