Instructions for burglar alarm system installation for Pegasus Pro safe series
Mounting the burglar alarm system components in the safe body:
The Pegasus Pro safe is equipped with a wooden insert.
To install the burglar alarm system components on the safe's inner body, parts must be removed from the wooden insert (bottom cover) or dismantled (right-side trim).
Please proceed as follows:
Removal of the bottom cover:
With the safe door open, remove the bottom cover. To do this, reach with a finger into the centrally located removal opening below the bottom cover and lift the bottom cover (Figure 1+2).
Now you can pull the bottom cover forward out of the safe. Make sure that the seal on the bottom cover is not damaged. When the bottom cover is removed, you will see two anchoring holes
and several threaded holes for the structure-borne sound detector and the distribution box in the bottom of the safe (Fig. 3).
The left anchoring hole is used to anchor the Pegasus Pro. The breakaway indicator is installed in the right-hand (larger) hole. The safe also has two cable holes (each Ø11 mm) in the rear wall
at the bottom right and in the side wall at the bottom rear. Both cable holes are sealed from the inside with a fire protection plug at the factory. The plugs can - when used as cable openings -
be pressed out of the holes from the outside inwards.
A mounting bracket for the door magnet is screwed to the front left of the floor. When the door magnet is screwed to the bracket, it sits in the elongated recess in the lower wooden panel. The
counterpart of the door magnet is screwed onto the bottom of the door.
