Sewing and spe c ial overlo c k threads are m anu f a c tured in a wide vari-
ety o f types, weights and c o m b ination o f f i b res. It is worth investing in
good q uality threads f or per f e c t sewing results. D e c orative threads spe-
c ially m ade f or overlo c k ers (availa b le on c ones) are also b e c o m ing widely
availa b le. W e re c o m m end f ollowing the b asi c guidelines when using
spe c ial threads on your overlo c k er :
- Pur c hase threads on c ones or spools whi c h are produ c ed e x c lusively
f or overlo c k ing.
- W hen using nor m al spools, use the spool c aps (in a c c essory b ag).
- Only use dec orative threads in the loopers. The thread m ust m ove
easily and without resistan c e through the thread guides and looper eyes.
- The thi c k er the thread, the longer the stit c h length (3-4).
- The thi c k er the thread, the looser the tensions
- Sew slowly when using de c orative threads. Pull the thread c hain gen-
tly to the rear when starting to sew.
Always test sew de c orative threads b e f ore starting to sew your wor k .

Nici do szycia i specjalne owerlokowe są wytwarzane w wielu różnych
odmianach, szerokościach i z różnych włókien. Warto zainwestować
w wysokiej jakości nici dla dobrych rezultatów. Dekoracyjne nici
owerlokowe (dostępne na stożkach) równiez staja się dostępne.
Zalecamy następujące kroki przy używaniu specjalnych nici
- Kupuj nici na stożkach lub szpulkach do owerloków
- Przy normalnych szpulkach używaj nakrętek szpulkowych
z torby z akcesoriami
Używaj dekoracyjnych nici tylko w sczepiarkach. Nić musi łatwo
i bez oporu przesuwać się przez prowadnice i oczka sczepiarki
- Im grubsza nić, tym dłuższe ściegi (
- Im grubsza nić, tym luźniejsze naprężenia
Przy niciach dekoracyjnych szyj wolno. Przy rozpoczęciu delikatnie
dociągnij łańcuch niciowy do tyłu.
Zawsze poprzedź pracę szyciem próbnym przy niciach dekoracyjnych.
