OPERATOR SAFETY
General safety instructions
• Keep the work area clean
• Observe the risks due to gas and vapours in the work area.
• Avoid all electrical hazards. Observe the risk of electric shocks and arcs.
• Always be aware of the risk of drowning, an electrical accident or burns
DANGER:
This product is not suitable for checking for damage or for remedying floods. This product
is for use in the STORCH ColorFree top separating plant for pumping off flocculated waste
water. Improper use of the product can cause flooding, serious and potentially fatal injury.
The pump must be mounted at an accessible location in accordance with the pump
manufacturer's instructions so that maintenance and cleaning of the inlet and/or screen
is possible.
Position the pump only at the point in the ColorFree top separating unit at the place pro-
vided for this purpose, at the rear, centrally in the lower bottom plate of the clear water
collecting tank.
Electrics
CAUTION:
Before working on the device, disconnect the power supply to the device in order to avoid
injury, damage to the device or environmental damage.
The pump is equipped with a tinned cable with silicone insulation and a cross-section of
2.5 mm . Do not modify the pump including its cables.

CAUTION:
To avoid damage to the device in the event of a short circuit, a fuse of the correct rating
must always be installed. Failure to install a correctly rated fuse will increase the risk of
pump malfunction, possibly resulting in injury to persons and/or a fire hazard.
