Carrying Strap

Use as a Floor Vacuum Cleaner

Use

CAUTION!
■ The openings on the device must not be blocked to ensure that the motor does not
overheat or suffer damage.
■ Hold the hand-held vacuum cleaner securely when you are using it so that it does
not fall out of your hand.
■ Never hold the nozzles, in particular the turbo nozzle with its rotating brush, close to
parts of your body or animals during use and do not place your hands inside the nozzles.
They could become stuck to the device/injured. Should the vacuum cleaner become
stuck, switch the device off immediately (move On/Off switch to position 0). Keep the
turbo nozzle away from objects which could become caught in the rotating brush.
■ Switch on the vacuum cleaner only when you have checked that all the parts have
been properly attached and that the dust container and the fi lter are correctly inserted.
■ Always switch the device off fi rst and pull the mains plug from the mains socket be-
fore you replace the nozzles and any other accessories!
■ On no account should the device be used to suck up the following:
– Liquids or wet substances (e. g. wet carpet shampoo)
– Glowing ash, cigarette ends, matches, etc.
– Infl ammable or explosive substances
– Very fi ne dust (e. g. concrete dust), ash or toner
– Pointed, hard objects such as e. g. large pieces of broken glass
1. Depending on whether you wish to use the vacuum cleaner as a hand-held or fl oor
vacuum cleaner, insert the telescoping rod (13) if necessary or detach it.
2. Insert the nozzle you want into the suction opening (6) and attach the suction hose
(17). If necessary, attach the carrying strap (16) to the device.

• If you wish to use the carrying strap (16), attach its two
hooks to the eyelets on the motor housing.
You can adjust the length of the strap by sliding the buckle
on the strap.
• Detaching the carrying strap: Press the levers on the
hooks to open them and pull the hooks out of the eyelets.
• If you wish to use the device as a fl oor vacuum cleaner,
place the turbo nozzle (7) or the fl oor nozzle on and plug
the telescoping rod (13) into the connection opening in the
motor housing.
• To detach the telescoping rod, press the release button
(2) and as you do so pull the rod out of the motor housing.
