1. Place the DJI Flip
with good ventilation when charging an external device or accumulating power. Make sure the charging hub is
properly insulated to prevent fire hazards.
2. DO NOT touch the metal terminals on the battery ports. Clean the metal terminals with a clean, dry cloth if there
is any noticeable buildup.
3. Make sure to charge batteries with low battery power in time. It is recommended to store the batteries in the
charging hub. The charging hub automatically checks the battery power every seven days. When a battery has 0%
power level, the battery with a high power level will charge the low power level battery until its power reaches 5%
to prevent over-discharging.
Usage
Charging Intelligent Flight Batteries
1. Insert the Intelligent Flight Batteries into the charging hub. Make sure to insert the protrusion on the battery into
the groove of the charging hub, and then press the battery until you hear a click. (Figure A1)
2. Connect the charging hub to a power outlet using a USB-C charger. The status LEDs indicate the battery status
during charging. Refer to the Status LEDs Descriptions for more information about the blinking patterns. When
using chargers with different power ratings to charge multiple batteries, the charging sequence will vary. Refer to
the table below for details.
Charger Power <65 W
Charger Power ≥65 W
3. The batteries can be stored in the charging hub after charging is complete. Remove a battery from the charging
hub for use. (Figure A2)
Using the Charging Hub as a Power Bank
1. Insert the Intelligent Flight Batteries into the charging hub. Connect an external device, such as a smartphone or
remote controller to the USB-C port of the charging hub, and then press and hold the function button for three
seconds. (Figure B)
2. Batteries will be discharged based on the battery level, from the lowest to the highest, and supply power to the
external device. To stop charging the external device, disconnect the external device from the charging hub.
• If the remaining power of a battery is lower than 7%, the battery cannot charge the external device.
• To switch to charging Intelligent Flight Batteries, reconnect the USB-C cable.
Power Accumulation
1. Insert the Intelligent Flight Batteries into the charging hub, press and hold the function button for 3 seconds to
transfer the power from the batteries with a lower power level to the battery with the highest power level. The
status LEDs for the batteries with a lower power level will display the current power level, while the status LEDs
for the battery with a high power level will blink in sequence. (Figure C)
2. To stop accumulating power, press and hold the function button for 3 seconds again. After stopping power
accumulation, press the function button to check the power level of the batteries.
• Power accumulation stops automatically in the following situations:
a. The receiving battery is fully charged, or the power of the output battery is lower than 10%;
b. A charger or external device is connected to the charging hub or any battery is inserted or
withdrawn from the charging hub during power accumulation;
c. Power accumulation is interrupted for more than 15 minutes due to abnormal battery
temperature.
• After accumulating power, charge the battery with the lowest power level as soon as possible to
avoid over-discharge.
Checking Battery Level
After the batteries are inserted into the charging hub, press the function button once and the status LEDs will
display the battery levels. Refer to the section below for the battery level descriptions.
Status LEDs Descriptions
Each battery port has its corresponding status LED array to display charging status, battery level, and abnormal
status of the corresponding battery. When the status LED array is displaying battery level and abnormal status, the
description is the same as the battery level LEDs on the aircraft. Refer to the user manual of the aircraft for more
information.
