2. Press the On / Off switch (17) to
switch on the rotating brushes (22).
(To switch it off, press the On / Off
switch again.)
3. Guide the upholstered furniture at-
tachment over the area which is to be
cleaned and as you do so press the
trigger (23) for the water nozzles (22)
(Picture G).
The liquid which emerges from the
water nozzles is instantly brushed in.
The dirty water is sucked up and col-
lected in the dirty water tank (10).

Note the MAX marking of the
dirty water tank and empty it as
soon as it is reached.
4. If the dirty water tank is going to be
emptied, the fresh water tank topped
up or the cleaning ended, switch off
the device in the manner described in
the "After Use" section and discon-
nect it from the mains power.
After Use
1. Press the On / Off switch (17) to switch
off the rotating brushes and release of
warm air.
2. After cleaning a floor, set the device
down in the parking position on the
cloth which is provided.
Flip the I / 0 switch for warm air (4) to
the 0 position.
3. Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket.
4. Empty and rinse out the fresh water
tank (12) and dirty water tank (10)
after each use (see the "Cleaning and
Storing the Device" chapter).
5. Allow the freshly cleaned surfaces to
dry completely.

If possible, do not tread on a car-
pet while it is still damp. If it has

to be trodden on, put down white
or colourfast towels and tread on
them.
6. If cleaning solution has got onto furni-
ture, wipe it away.
7. Vacuum dry carpets or upholstered
furniture with a vacuum cleaner. To
do this, use a brush attachment if
possible.
CLEANING AND STORING
THE DEVICE
Please Note!

Make sure that no liquid gets into the
motor unit during cleaning.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents to clean the device
and accessories. They may damage
the surfaces.
•
Remove the fresh water tank (X)
and the dirty water tank (X) from the
device and empty them. Then rinse
thoroughly with clear water. Allow
them to dry open in the air.
•
Allow the rotating brushes (X, X) to
dry in the air. Then remove any hair
and fluff. The cleaning tool which is
supplied can be used to do this.
•
Wipe down the rest of the device
parts with a damp cloth if necessary.
Then dry with a cloth.
•
Store the device and all accessories
in a cool, dry place which is protected
from direct sunlight and is out of the
reach of children and animals.
