FILLING THE FRESH WATER
TANK
Please Note!
■
Only ever pour the cleaning product
supplied with the device or standard
carpet cleaning products for carpet
cleaners into the fresh water tank. Do
not pour any corrosive or abrasive
cleaning products into the device!
■
Do not use any cleaning products that
produce a lot of foam as excessive
foaming impedes the functioning of
the device.
The fresh water tank (12) can be pulled
out of the device for filling or be left in
the device.
1. Fold up the closure cap from the fresh
water tank.
2. Fill the fresh water tank with clean,
warm water (max. 50 ° C) and if appli-
cable a cleaning product for carpets.
Follow the dosing instructions on the
cleaning product. Do not exceed the
MAX marking on the fresh water tank.
3. Snap shut the closure cap onto the
fresh water tank.
USE
Preparing the Surface to be Cleaned
1. Vacuum or sweep the floor to remove
coarse dirt.
2. Remove all furniture from the floor if
possible. Lay a plastic film below or
around the feet of large items of fur-
niture which cannot be moved to one
side to protect them. Only remove it
once the floor has completely dried
after it has been cleaned.
3. Check the colourfastness of the carpet
or upholstered furniture: Soak a piece
of white fabric with the cleaning

product and rub it on an inconspicu-
ous spot on the carpet / upholstered
furniture. If the white fabric does not
become discoloured, the device can
be used. In the case of carpets or
upholstered furniture with several col-
ours, test the fastness of each colour
individually.
Preparing the Device
Please Note!

Never operate the device without
water.
■
Only connect the device to a plug
socket that is properly installed. The
plug socket must also be readily
accessible after connection so that the
connection to the mains can quickly
be isolated. The mains voltage must
match the rating plate of the device.
■
Always switch off the device first be-
fore the plug is pulled out of the plug
socket. One exception is when the
device has fallen into water or in the
event of a fault.
■
The device should only be used if it
has been fully and correctly assem-
bled! Both the dirty water tank and
the fresh water tank must be firmly
closed and inserted!

The assembly of the device is
described in the "Attaching and
Detaching Accessories" chapter.
1. Fill the fresh water tank (12) (see the
"Filling the Fresh Water Tank" chap-
ter) and insert it into the device.
2. Close the dirty water tank (10) secure-
ly and insert it into the device.
3. Attach the appropriate accessory
(see the "Attaching and detaching
accessories" chapter), depending on
the area of use:
○ the rotating brushes – carpet (20)
for cleaning carpets
